Shoulder Surgery Update

I had a very messed up shoulder surgery 2 days before Thanksgiving and have been in a sling 24x7 since.  I had my first physical therapy last week. I've been a good girl and done all my PT so the therapist told me at my appt. yesterday that I could take the sling off as long as I was resting or not doing things that require long reach or have much weight.  To my surprise progress is being made quickly! I hurt like crazy today but I will do my physical therapy to my best ability without overworking my shoulder. I might even heal quickly enough that I can have my right hand's surgery in February or March and have all its' physical therapy over before we have the pool ready to swim in. I'll see about the other surgeries next fall. One thing at a time...

I had smoked 35 years. I consider myself 'certifiably crazy' (jokingly) and anyone that knows me can attest to that : ) I am a certified Reiki practioner, I love heavy metal music even though I'm over 50; animals of all kinds and will rescue and rehab (if possible) any beastie I come across; I love raising ducks; riding horses; embroidery, and of course sarcasm. I am looking forward to the rest of my life as a non-smoker.
