Amazing Night

i just got home from an amazing and emotional night.  I volunteered at a homeless shelter and gave haircuts to the homeless.  They were so appreciative and so grateful. I think I got more out of it then them. I’ve always did haircuts for St. Baldericks but I have never first hand seen who I was helping on such a personal level.  I didn’t know what to expect as this was my first time at a shelter. It broke my heart yet at the same time swelled my heart to see all the mattresses on the floor and all the people; men, women, and children, young and old. I shed tears on my way home due to happiness, sadness, gratefulness, gratitude....I think I experienced every single emotion.  I hope to continue to volunteer with this amazing organization.

I was a closet smoker or at least I like to think I was. After quitting smoking there is NO WAY my smoking was a secret; how could it be with the awful smell??!! This site made all the difference in my Forever Quit! Smoke free since September 7, 2015
