What a feeling!!

Due to some issues at my current place of employment, I have been actively seeking another position elsewhere. I have been online completing tons of applications and sending my resume to anyone and everyone I can think of, but today, it was a bit different. I was online completing the necessary questionnaire required and I was so THRILLED, when it informed me that it was a smoke free facility and I would be subjected to a nicotine test upon hire, that I knew I would be able to pass that test!!  Usually I would either ask myself if this position was worth me quitting smoking to apply for or just completely quit the application all together. I am PROUD to say that I completed the application and with a smile on my face, clicked submit. I just wanted to share that proud moment with you all....Have a wonderful Friday!

I began smoking, stealing mom's cigs out of her purse at 13 years old. I have quit a million times before, my first serious quit when I was in my 30's and that quit lasted a little over 7 years....after halfheartedly plenty of other quits lasting from 1/2 days to maybe a week or so, I am hoping this next attempt is my last...As someone who has become an expert in cigarette withdrawals, I'm getting kind of sick of it and this time I am looking for support from this site....
