Born in Bluefield in 1947 moved to Baltimore, MD at age 3. Moved back to Bluefield, WV in 1961 due to family illness. Worked as a carhop at family drive-in, assistant restaurant manger, nurses aide, telephone operator. sewing factory, sales clerk, office credit manager, retail store manager, retail district manager, debt collector, Dept. of Health & Human Services, and aide for disabled & mentally challenged. I also went to college at 65 rec'd bachelor degree. I love spending time with my family, reading, sewing, needlework, crocheting, knitting, cooking and watching plants grow. I no longer plant a garden but do plant in pots. I don't move around a lot as I have lost both of my legs. The last one in July 2019. I received my last leg in January. Not used to it yet but I am walking with some assistance inside , no yard walking. I am also a cancer survivor.
