Hey all, it's been a bit since I've blogged, so I just wanted to catch you all up on what's going on with me. I live in Oregon, so it's been very very smokey because of the many fires. My son is a wild land firefighter so he has been busy on many of them.  The last few days we have had some relief from the smoke, thank goodness. It was good to get outside in this hot weather and enjoy the sunshine. My husband is a farmer, and his family has many orchards, so he will be busy day and evenings until the end of November. I went and picked some Plums-Peaches-Apples today too!

So what's been keeping me real busy in the evenings though is, learning a new language.  I'm learning Spanish!  And I'm loving it. I am learning through the free app called Duelingo (Duolingo: Learn Spanish, French and other languages for free  )   I also go on youtube and learn from there!  It's also a great way to spend time when I get triggers.    I sometimes do it on my iphone, (I don't use the iphone for a cellphone, just for wifi for things like this app. Never have been a cellphone user. lol)  But I mostly do it on my laptop at their website.  They also have a site through them that is called Tiny cards. (  Tinycards — Flashcards by Duolingo )  I use both of the sites every day for hrs.  I'm even learning sign language on the Tinycards one.   Go check it out and have fun with it.

The kids have started school also, wasn't sure if they were going to open with all the fire smoke. They did and they just made sure to keep the kids inside and close the windows.  Before the smoke started, we were enjoying going kayaking everyday , the lake is only a mile away from the house, so it's perfect to get out there after my husbands done in orchards.  It was the first time the kids went in the big ones, they loved it. We taught them how to flip over and get out safely.  I myself enjoy the new kind of kayaks, the ones where you sit on instead of sit in.

Well, I pray that all our ex friends on here who live in Texas/Louisiana/Florida/Washington/Oregon/California/Idaho/Montana/Utah  are all safe.  I might have missed a few places that are dealing with fires also.   And I also want to say again how thankful I am for all of you and this site!  I keep spreading the word about ex. everywhere I go. It was truly a God sent!   Life is good being free from the poison. Could you imagine in all this smoke, how awful it would have been, had I still been a smoker.  21558949_10155722223633928_6503753508883212099_n.jpg21559058_10155722223278928_8977706421200645105_n.jpgthis one the apple in the upper right hand corner looks like a ghost. lol 21617937_10155722223868928_6046521953319937148_n.jpg21686231_10155722223468928_1242552407820274895_n.jpg21616397_10155722223658928_2631327703040995154_n.jpg21616314_10155722223733928_2205688013122552306_n.jpg
