How I quit.
No one can't say that prayer does not work. I have been attending smoking cessation classes as well as joined the Quitline advertised on tv. Out of all the times I promised myself to quit, last week I humbled myself and asked Christ to help me with this. Well on Monday morning, I remember saying to myself, I still have a few days to go before my quit date and I have a few more in my pack, I'll extend these to my quit day. A few hours later while at my primary care physician's office, I became so ill, I was rushed to the ER. My blood pressure was 186/95 and I was so dizzy. The ER performed all of these tests and could not find anything wrong. After a few hours in the ER, my blood pressure dropped to 133/ 66 and they released me. I have not smoked since. Three days clean, no pack, just help from above.
