Almost a Year

My quit date anniversary is next month January 18, 2019. I relapsed June 2016 after quitting for three years. It was even harder to quit this last time. I was so frustrated because I could not breathe but I could not quit. I am so grateful to be smoke-free. I found out this year that I had damaged my heart. I am still working hard to repair my body. I am enjoying my career in healthcare where smoking is shunned. I feel that I am setting a good example for my family as three friends and family members quit when I did.
