Hey all, I haven't been on here as much lately because school has kept me busy and I haven't had any cravings in some time. I am so grateful I decided to quit before dental hygiene school started. It is a stressful program and if I had waited I would have been forced to quit during one of the most stressful times of my life. I wouldn't have any time to smoke during school which is from 8 to 5 and I think it would have made me so crabby and unable to concentrate. I am 1 year two months and 6 days smober and I couldn't be prouder of myself.

I worked as a veterinary nurse for 10 years as an anesthesia/dental prophy tech. I recently left that job to pursue a career in dental hygiene for humans. I started smoking when I was 13 and have made many many attempts to quit. Married no kids and 1 dog.
