Day 3

Another day down and I feel fantastic!  Other than feeling a little tired still, but I know it will get better. I did take a Benadryl last night and it did help a little bit.  I might have gotten about 3 hours of sleep before I woke up.  Better than nothing and I will take that.

I really feel free today! My thoughts haven't been filled with as much smoking related things and cravings have just about diminished to zero! It feels great to be free!

It's amazing how this addiction affects our bodies and mind.   I never thought I could be addicted to anything when I was younger, boy was I wrong!  I smoked for over 20 years, started when I was 12 or 13 on and off throughout my teenage years.  Quit when I found out I was pregnant with my girls, then started a few months after they were born.  I will be 36 in January and I never want to pick up another damn cigarette again!  I think it was one of the causes of my health issues, especially the high blood pressure at 21.
