Today I have 3 days smoke free, and working on my 4th day. I have many times gotten to day 4 to smoke this night. Then I smoke either a couple and start over, or smoke through the weekend.

I don't want to do that this time. I want this to be the quit that lasts forever.

I know in evening I can't drink coffee, and I need to take my anxiety pill to help keep that down, but i have to go to an AA meeting tonight, which causes some anxiety too. It's always after the meeting where I buy smokes.

So im coming here to get support before it happens, now I know what my triggers are.

Thanks all!

I've been smoking since I was 13, and I am going to be 42 in a few days. I have had 2 quits that lasted 11 months. I have been trying to quit again now for over a month. I would get 4 days smoke free, then smoke for a couple then get 4 more days ect... I'm bipolar, with an anxiety disorder and ptsd. I'm also an alcohlic. I go to a group for dual diagnosis for these, as well as AA meetings. I also see a therapist and a psychiatrist regularly.
