SUNSHINE!

About a year and a half ago I was outside and my dogs (we have 3 labs) were barking looking up into a tree.  I told them to leave the birds alone.  When I looked up I realized the bird was yellow!    I said wait a minute that's not a wild bird that's a parakeet.  So I started calling it pretty bird    come here.  She flew down to the ground and let me catch her.  I told my hubby, "God wanted me to have a parakeet".  I did try to find out if there was any way I could find her owner, but no luck.  There was no way.  The pet store doesn't keep records and we are way out in the country.  So I named her Sunshine!  I love to sing to her.  Songs like YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE MY ONLY SUNSHINE and SUNSHINE ON MY SHOULDER!  She is so sweet!
