Singing to victory!

Today I went to the nursing home to do our church, nursing home ministry, and while I was giving out hugs and singing hymns I was thinking about my quit plan.  I was hugging folks on oxygen. We were singing LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS and I was thinking I CAN DO THIS!

Then we sang KEEPS ME SINGING AS I GO.  If you don't know it it goes Jesus Jesus Jesus sweetest name I know... Fills my every longing keeps me singing as I go!

It reminded me to put sing on my list of things to do instead of smoking.

That's what I'm going to do. I'm gonna sing my way to victory!      Just a good day!

My quit date is October 18th.
