Written in advance...
Tomorrow is your big day! The day freedom begins. How are you feeling? I bet I know.
You are scared that you will wake up, jump out of bed and light one up. Well, here are some reminders.
1. Remind hubby that you need him to smoke away from you tomorrow and that you appreciate his support.
2. Crush any cigarettes you have left. Don't give them to hubby. You have to crush them and tell them you're claiming your freedom.
3. Dump the ashtray, put it where it's supposed to be and take out the trash.
I bet you are also hoping everyone stays off your last nerve. No one is going to actually press your last nerve tomorrow. It's not your nerve. It's not going to be anyone's fault for how you might feel at random times throughout the day.
It's the nicotine that you have let rent an apartment inside your body for years. This drug is not ready for the eviction and will put up a fight.
Scripture to focus on: Roman's 12:18
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone".
If it is possible, as far as it depends on Ami, she will live at peace with everyone.
Being at peace is not anyone else's responsibility. It's yours.
You're not quitting smoking. You're breaking free from a prison and taking your life back. Celebrate tomorrow! Throw a party with the kids and dance!
