(for the youngsters among us, this is Miss Nancy from Romper Room - a TV show from the 50's.  She would look through her mirror and announce names of children she could :see" and you always hoped she would say YOUR name)

When I first quit I was scared to death, my digestion was screwed up, my moods were all over the place, I was uncomfortable in my own skin, there were days I had to quit a minute at a time.   It wasn't easy – but it WAS doable. You just have to get through it.  Trust me - the freedom is worth all you must go through to achieve it.

You will never be sorry you quit smoking; you will be sorry if you don't

I smoked until a vascular surgeon informed me of the damage I had done to myself by doing so. I quit 11 years ago, and I can swim laps virtually FOREVER now, walk most other days 40 minutes to an hour and a half. What a difference quitting has made in my life! I strive to help others find this wonderful freedom from addiction, too.
