My Date With A Robot

They moved my partial knee replacement surgery up to tomorow at 2:30.  The dead part of the fibula will be excised by the surgeon using a robotic arm informed by a special MRI.  Then that section of the end of the bone will be replaced with metal and plastic.

They do it as outpatient.  Not sure if they will make me spend the night since the surgery is in the p.m.  I sure hope I can come home.  I have a hospital phobia after several really awful experiences.

Prayers and good thoughts will be appreciated.

See you all on the flip side!

You all better not smoke while I'm gone.  I have Guido on Speed Dial!

I smoked until a vascular surgeon informed me of the damage I had done to myself by doing so. I quit 11 years ago, and I can swim laps virtually FOREVER now, walk most other days 40 minutes to an hour and a half. What a difference quitting has made in my life! I strive to help others find this wonderful freedom from addiction, too.
