If you drink alcohol when you are quitting smoking, your addled brain might think, "just one won't hurt" and even Dudley Doright won't be able to save your quit!
Don't chance it. A quit is a terrible thing to lose.

This is so true my birthday is July 4 and I had this conversation with some one who says aww your ready to drink and Im saying hell no I cant' I probably need a year or more I know not now to drink that would be trigger for sure LOL Lord thank you for this site I got outsiders trying to tell me its ok to drink and I wont smoke BULL I know better
Good for you Ready2017 you are doing great, hang onto your awesome attitude because it'll help you through any rough patches you may across and we're all for you too.
I have been testing and identifying triggers during my prep to quit time. Last night I actually had two beers. I did not light up because of the beer, in fact, when I did during the second, my first reaction was disappointment because the cig interfered with the refreshing taste of the Summer Shandy! Yuck! I really am beginning to hate this addiction! (Yeah, I'm thinking that is a good thing too.)

Keeping our quit the # 1 priority is key to days WON! Not another Day ONE! Thanks Nancy.
