Oh yeah... a whole month smoke free and it feels so good to say that.  I do look forward to a day that I don't think about cigarettes, habits, rituals, all day long!  Yes, it's still there a lot and I find it very tiresome - not so bad at work but man, once home and alone with me myself and I, my mind just kicks into high gear! Fortunately, the good jiminy cricket wins and reminds me of all the reasons I love being smoke free

About the Author
I am a transplant from England and came to California in 1973; became a citizen in 1985. I have promised myself I would be a happy non-smoker by my 70th birthday or sooner - April is getting close! I started smoking at age 15 and like many others have tried to stop several times. This time I have a very different attitude and I am looking at this as a positive move to regaining my freedom as opposed to losing something by giving it up.
