A Pleasant Insight Today!

I find myself a few minutes early before leaving for work today so here I am with a share.  I was lying awake this morning from 2:45 - why, I don't know but you can image that for the next 2 hours till my alarm went off (I refuse to get up any earlier than 4:45) many muses went through my mind.  The most pleasant of all was realizing that I no longer wheeze!!!!  In only 16 days I am experiencing some very positive changes.  My major reason to quit is wanting to breathe freely and I had noticed the occasional teeny tiny but audible wheeze and that scared me.   A fabulous reason to stick to my quit!  Really have to go now

I am a transplant from England and came to California in 1973; became a citizen in 1985. I have promised myself I would be a happy non-smoker by my 70th birthday or sooner - April is getting close! I started smoking at age 15 and like many others have tried to stop several times. This time I have a very different attitude and I am looking at this as a positive move to regaining my freedom as opposed to losing something by giving it up.
