I never thought it would mean so much to me to see that quit count now that I can find it each day!  It gives me a lift at the start of my new smoke free day    I was so happy to be at work yesterday and connect with my quit buddy - sharing our weekend and it's trials!  I had a tough Sunday afternoon with that inner dialog taunting me for hours.  I kept arguing back and when I finally went indoors at the end of the day, my first thought was.... a jubilant...... "I Made It!!!"

Woo Hoo:)

About the Author
I am a transplant from England and came to California in 1973; became a citizen in 1985. I have promised myself I would be a happy non-smoker by my 70th birthday or sooner - April is getting close! I started smoking at age 15 and like many others have tried to stop several times. This time I have a very different attitude and I am looking at this as a positive move to regaining my freedom as opposed to losing something by giving it up.
