10 Glorious days of freedom! I'm so proud of myself  Never on any previous attempts did I feel good about quitting but this time, wow, it really is easy!  Thank you Allen Carr, Wellbutrin , and this EX group. Oh, I have my moments but they pass really quickly even at high stress moments. Maybe I'm just lucky this time but regardless I am taking credit for my success - woo hoo!  This morning I am meeting up with close friend - non-smoker who will be very surprised when I don't light up.

I am a transplant from England and came to California in 1973; became a citizen in 1985. I have promised myself I would be a happy non-smoker by my 70th birthday or sooner - April is getting close! I started smoking at age 15 and like many others have tried to stop several times. This time I have a very different attitude and I am looking at this as a positive move to regaining my freedom as opposed to losing something by giving it up.
