***Update 3/1 Thanks to a wonderful snow storm due in Saturday evening/Sunday morning, my plans have changed and I am not going out this weekend and I will be around through Tuesday

My life is going to get and be really crazy over the next 9 or 10 days so thought I would post now since I don't know how much or when I will be online after tonight. While my emotions have been all over the map the last few days, the cravings have been minimal or just a passing thought that I have been able to easily get past. I am so thankful for that.

Making a couple of road trips, one is a 7+ hrs round trip in my roommates car- he smokes and I have my quit kit packed and ready. I also have a 6 hr round trip drive by myself, in my non-smoking truck so while I will have a few of my quit aids- breath mints and water- handy I'm not really worried.

Hold tight to your quits and I will be posting again after the 10th or 11th.

I quit smoking Oct 31st 2017. It was hard, I had rough moments, but even with my husband and roommate smoking I kept from smoking since I decided to do it for me. Aug 7th 2018 my husband quit smoking. September 18 my world was turned upside down as my husband died in front of me. February 19, 2019 I quit..it took a few tries after my husband passed, but I am no longer a smoker.
