Chantix- Day 3

I took my third dose of 0.5mg today and move up to 1.0 tomorrow. No side effects outside of dreams being a bit more vivid and I can already tell it is starting to work. I just don't get the "rush" feeling when I do smoke. I am keeping up with my reading, changing up my routine of when & how often I smoke and have no doubt that my last day smoking will be Sunday. Then come Monday the 19th I will be reporting it as day one won

It does help that I have been busy cleaning house and sorting through stuff. I finally resigned myself to stop sorting and just clean and stuffed boxes into my closet until after this weekend. The weather changed from a comfortable 51degrees expected to a chilly and snowy 30 degrees. At this point it looks like the snow will pass us, but it will still be cold and windy. I already borrowed a large percolator so I can have plenty of coffee on hand and hot water in my small coffee pot for hot tea or hot chocolate. I hate the fact I am hosting a celebration of life for my husband, but I am looking forward to having friends and family come share memories. Since my roommates brothers probably won't be able to show up during the 1-5pm event, we have decided to order in pizza and ask a selected few friends to stick around for dinner with the family. Another long day like November 3rd when I went out to KC for the first celebration, but at least I don't have to get up and be on the road by 6am.
