Dealing with people can be a huge stressor

So this evening my wireless mouse for my computer decided it was done. I have been having issues with it and knew it was going to need replacement sometime soon, but I keep forgetting to pick up a new one. Tonight it died, I went to change the batteries and one of the springs, connectors broke. Not a big issue, I have the laptop mouse pad to use. I can live without the mouse it is just an added benefit. I asked my husband if he had an extra mouse, he looked and didn't. My roommate and husband both are acting lie it is the end of the world for me. umm no seriously I can live a night without my mouse. It is cold, we had icy rain last night and their are a lot of slick spots still out on the roads. I am in no way going out nor am I asking my husband or roommate to go out. I actually had to get up and grab a breath mint, instead of going outside to smoke, first time in a while I had to do that and it is just frustrating...oh well, husband is now out in the garage looking for a mouse...smh..

Holding tight to my quit no matter what

I quit smoking Oct 31st 2017. It was hard, I had rough moments, but even with my husband and roommate smoking I kept from smoking since I decided to do it for me. Aug 7th 2018 my husband quit smoking. September 18 my world was turned upside down as my husband died in front of me. February 19, 2019 I quit..it took a few tries after my husband passed, but I am no longer a smoker.
