Heck Week is Over

I made it two WHOLE weeks with no smoking, cheating or anything. There were some dicey times but I made it AND I am still married!

Today is my constant day of running. Getting ready for a doc appointment right now. Orthodontist this evening and in between there I have to go by Tractor Supply and get rabbit and chicken feed. I am super excited to tell the doc and ortho that I have quit smoking.

I really want to talk to the doctor about my weight. I was fat before I quit smoking. I am a little fatter now. I have tried a million and one diets. Had the best weight loss with low carb, but it is not something I can do the rest of my life and the weight just comes right back if you are eating the carbs.

I signed up for Weight Watchers. I am going to try it for awhile. I hate logging calories so the point system seems more appealing for me. Looked through their recipes and they have some yummy looking stuff. I also need to get up off my duff and get moving more. I am hoping once it cools down to a tolerable outdoor temperature, the hubs and I can start hiking again. So I am going to go over the recipes pick me out a few I like and get started with that over the next few days. I plan to approach it the same way as I did my quit, PLAN, PLAN, PLAN. If smoking isn't an option, being overweight isn't going to be one either.

Well I am off talk to the doc. Catch you peeps later.

Susan
