Day 2 is almost complete. I must say that today went much better than yesterday. I didn't cuss anybody. Urges are driving me crazy. I usually just walk away from where ever I am at when it hits. The biggest thing has been for me to stay busy.
I cleaned my office, rearranged somethings, rehung my clean curtains, dusted and vacuumed.
I cleaned the grill. It was a big greasy, nasty mess and has been cooking too hot and easily catching on fire, probably from the 3 inches of accumulated grease in the bottom. While it doesn't look brand new, it looks "barely used" now.
I wiped down the inside of my car and cleaned all the empty cigarette packs hiding in the door out. I rolled down the windows and opened the sunroof and let it air out today. I still need to vacuum it though.
I wiped down the kitchen and decluttered the countertops. Looks much better now.
I did some more embroidery, opened up a "cigarette money" savings account, paid some bills and tried once again to fix my riding mower. I do believe there is something terribly wrong with it. So far have replaced the battery and the solenoid, but still no power. The fuses are good and I see no break in any of the wiring. Pretty soon, I will have the thing rebuilt if I keep on replacing stuff. I think I am going to take it apart next week, for the heck of it. Thankfully I like taking things apart and putting them back together.
And my most awesome diffuser is back to working status!!! I am so happy
Tomorrow is my real challenge. I will be at work for 12.5 hrs (unless it is slow and they let me go home early, please ,please please). I will have to be around people (ugh) and there are several at work who smoke. I am secretly hoping that they stink to high heavens and I will just avoid the stench. And if all else fails, I will just go hide in the bathroom for a bit.
Hope everyone had a great Friday and hope you have an even better weekend. It is work for me all weekend. Sometimes it sucks only working weekends.
Susan
