I’ve made it to day FIVE!
Before Mother’s Day, I was smoking 15+ cigarettes a day. The day I started my patches, I went down to just ONE! (#hellyeah) So for the past four days, I’ve been having one cigarette. At around the same time.. 4:00pm-4:30pm... while I’m preparing dinner.. hmm..
i have learned what my biggest trigger is.. COOKING! Before quitting I assumed the usual; driving, coffee, sex, outdoors. That THOSE would be my triggers.. my ROUTINE would consist of numerous triggers.
But cooking?! Now THATS a battle to not have my cooking cig. Ahh now I’m thinking about it ...
okay okay I’m back.
god this is ******* hard.
but today is the FIRST DAY since I’ve ‘quit’ or started quitting that I haven’t had ONE CIGARETTE! It’s 8:43pm here and I have not smoked a cigarette since 4:30pm yesterday.
im damn proud of myself.
