Went to my gp yesterday and he did a chest X-ray and it showed no pneumonia....yay!!! Said my daily inhaler wasn’t doin it’s job so bumped me up to the Anoro...hope all this goopy goes away. I see my pulmonologist on the 18th so hopefully things aren’t getting worse . Thanks for all your prayers and good vibes, this community rocks!!! If you are on here just reading and poking around and still smoking....please jump off the fence and jump on board and save yourself from those cancer sticks...blessings to all.

Started smoking to be cool and that was was 46 years ago with a break for boot camp and two pregnancies. Figured one cigarette with a cocktail wouldn’t hurt and now I’m diagnosed with emphysema, huh that didn’t work out as planned...you would think working in a hospital and watching your mother die of lung cancer would motivate me but apparently I’m a slow learner. Scared to quit but I know my life depends on it.
