Went to the Pulmonologist and was told after testing I have mild COPD instead of moderate as my test showed at my Primary doctors office...of course I would rather not have it at all but I am happy it’s not at stage 2 yet...bad news part is I guess I have both emphysema and chronic bronchitis, the best thing I could have done was STOP SMOKING....and guess what? I did that 29 days ago thanks to this wonderful community...thank you So now onto taking care of these lungs so everything sloooowwwwwssssss way down. If you haven’t stopped smoking yet, please please stop before you have to write this kind of blog. Blessings and happy Halloween, enjoy the cute trick or treaters I know I do...

Started smoking to be cool and that was was 46 years ago with a break for boot camp and two pregnancies. Figured one cigarette with a cocktail wouldn’t hurt and now I’m diagnosed with emphysema, huh that didn’t work out as planned...you would think working in a hospital and watching your mother die of lung cancer would motivate me but apparently I’m a slow learner. Scared to quit but I know my life depends on it.
