Excited it is day 10!! It doesn't feel like it has been that long!! I can't say it has been easy but it has been doable. Life throws you all kinds of unexpected events. If you choose not to smoke you will have to take these events as they come and deal the best way you can. As a nonsmoker I can say it is different to deal with problems and emotions. It is a little scary at times, but Faith in God has kept me in the hardest times, He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Support is a huge part of success and not being to proud to reach out when I need a hand. I started my day off not with my water or gum.(it is a lot more work than just getting up and getting started on the day). So I found myself in a big fat crave that was a doosey as my mom would say. But breathed through it, got my water popped some gum and feeling much better. Being a nonsmoker is a LOT about taking care of yourself I am learning. As someone who usually outs herself last ..this has been a challenge for me. But 2 days now I have seen the hard times that it causes. I will be making a conscious effort to put these things FIRST and not last as it is crucial to an easier quit!!
