Share your quitting journey
I tried going out and working on where I want to do a prairie flower planting.
I got about 3 minutes of work done and had to stop for about 5 minutes.
This pattern continued for the next hour.
I finally had to just stop and go back inside.
I will get the planting done, but I will have to take my time doing it.
To all you new quitters out there, and even those that are well into your quit, think many times before you light up that one sickorette that you "know" can't hurt anything.
Think about this old camel driver and what he did to his heart, lungs, and other parts of his body over a 42 year period because smoking could never hurt him.
I have news!!
It hurt him terribly!!!!
I can only do things for a fdew minutes before I have to stop and catch my breath.
If I continue and don't stop, I begin having pains in my chest and lungs.
My legs give out sometimes because of PAD limiting blood and Oxygen flow into my legs.
This is not my little "pity party" , just the facts of my life now. I did this to myself and am accepting it and how my life must be now.
Please learn from these facts.
Stay strong in your quit journey and don't fall for Nic's tricks.
Remember to take it one minute, one hour, or one day at a time, whichever you have to.
One step, and then another, will get you to where you want to be.
