Well, the cravings are easier to manage and urges are fewer.  One thing I’ve noticed is that I’m a little more agitated and my attention span seems to be shorter.  I tell myself to slow down and focus and I get the feeling that I have to re- 

learn how I go about doing the everyday things again but without smoke breaks.  Maybe I am keeping busy to distract myself from the urge to smoke and need to slow down and accept that this is the new normal and its good.  In fact my health is a lot better, I can ride my bike into town without huffing and puffing.  I feel stronger and my breathing is clear again.  

 

I have been getting a ting a lot of texts from Becomeanex, some are good but some are a little odd.  I don’t agree that meds can increase your chances of quitting, for me NRT was responsible for many failed attempts and a lot of suffering.  It just didn’t work, it kept me on nicotine and as soon as it dropped in level the cravings started up as fierce as ever.  I also got a text that almost implied that I had gone back to smoking, or at least that is how I read it.  While I think it’s great to offer help there is such as thing as too much and being reminded too often about your ex habit may not be constructive.

 

all in all though I love this app and will recommend it to all my friends that want to quit!
