Share your quitting journey
You have to have rain to get to the rainbow. I equate that with my journey to be smoke free. I have had some great moments during the past six weeks. I have also had my share of not so great moments. I know it's up to me to decide which moments to think about. I really don't mind the rain. I know that last night it was calming to listen to. This morning it has even given me motivation to take care of the inside of my house. Similar to what I am doing to overcome my nicotine addiction. I am cleaning house. It's an inside job someone told me and they were absolutely correct. I know this, but there are times when the inside is erupting. Instead of fighting it I am learning to accept that this will happen and I am successfully choosing to let it push me to positive places. Each time I choose a positive place the molten lava goes down a different ravine and I am continuing my journey on a happier trail. So happy to be on this path. I can see the rainbow and now I'm going to bake oatmeal raisin cookies
