Struggling still. My anxiety is really bad right now. I would love to smoke/have nicotine.

Uh oh!  Not sure how immobile you are.  Move around what ever way possible, even if only your arms or hands.  Chew on something, ice, veggies, a toothpick, a straw.  Stick your head in the freezer and take 4 or 5 long, deep breaths, sniff some Vicks Vaporub, sing out loud (I mean really loud).

No please don’t give up your quit. I wrote the same thing and I was helped by this site I’m 123 days and sometimes I crave too. Get busy think and do anything to take your mind off of it. Reading probally won’t help as it will be hard to concentrate. There are free app games. I love them with a crave. There are also free coloring and live breach’s to watch and relax. Do not drink. It will make it worse. Tom is right deep breaths Vick’s rub or inhaler. I carved a rock that now says NOPE. Not one puff ever. Breath in through your nose slowly and out from your mouth slowly. If all else fails take a warm bath have music on and sing out loud. We are here for you. We will check on you. You can do this. Remember the crave won’t kill you (even when it feels like it will). Smoking will kill you one way or another. Stay calm. You can do this. I know you can

If you cave and have nicotine , that will make your anxiety worse. 
​The belief that nicotine calms you down is a LIE. 
​It is a stimulant!!!! It will make your heart rate and BP rise immediately. It will undo all the progress you’ve made and throw you right back into a constant state of withdrawal/needing a fix. 
​Please, PLEASE do anything but smoke. 
​Eat some ice cream. Eat pickles or chips or chocolate. Brush your teeth. 
​use Vick’s under your nose. Google “the truth about smoking and anxiety”. 
​Please don’t give up. Xoxo we have GOT you.

TW517 It’s cracking me up that you said to sing. I sing at the top of my lungs every time I’m in my car. It’s not pretty. But it’s soooo effective, right? I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been stopped at a traffic light and have people pointing and laughing as I’m JAMMIN in the car!!! 
​The good news is, every month... week... I’m sounding better and better. Lol. Gone with the raspy “rocker chick” smokin voice, and HELLO ago the new me with a clear voice and lungs that won’t quit!!!! LOL;-)

Hi !! I have gained 5 pounds so I am feeling kinda down about myself today. I have a medium build and am 45. So I really don’t need to gain a bunch of weight.
