Thanks everyone for your comments! I only used 3 gums today and feel fine. I definitely don't want to set myself up for failure. I have been here before wanting to rush off NRT because I'm so happy to be free. I'm an anxious and impulsive person which can be a good trait when it come to things like starting a job (My anxious make me learn quick) but it can also be a bad trait sometimes. I'm going to stick with the plan and wean off. Smoking is not an option for me anymore no matter what. I've placed myself in stressful situations mentally and thought of coping skills like praying, singing, and remembering that crying is indeed legal! I've been practicing ways to deal with disappointment or sadness and even stress and anger so that I won't look back my emotional state is my biggest trigger. So for now I'm going to be easy and breath one day at a time :-)
