I've been meditating for a couple of months now. Like anything, you get better the more you practice. Progressive relaxation helps keep me focused. I start at the crown of my head and work my way down through neck, shoulders, arms, etc...

 

This morning, unbidden, a random memory from childhood unraveled the whole thing. Now all I hear is: Where is Thumbkin, where is Thumbkin...
