Finding this community back in June of 2014 was a blessing in disguise I'd just found out that I have mild copd and I'm one of those people that knew that smoking was bad and causes a host of illnesses including Cancer but it happens to other people NOT me right? Anyway I finally figured out that I'm not invincible and my desire to live a Smokefree Life was so much stronger than continuing to slowly kill myself so I read everything I could find about this horrid addiction I set up a quit date but I wasn't ready when it came so I reset it and promised myself the night before that I was never going to pick up another cigarette as long as I live and I don't break promises to anyone including myself. If anyone asked me if quitting smoking was easy? I'd be saying HELL NO!!!! BUT if you asked me if quitting smoking was worth it? I'll be saying HELL YES!!!!! Anything in this life worth having takes time and effort and quitting smoking is the wisest decision that anyone and everyone will ever make and it's definetly the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE which I consider the one gift that will keep on giving day after day week after week month after month and Lord willing year after year and with commitment and perseverance Freedom is ours.....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
