There's no reason to go backwards EVER!

It was my daughter Mandy's 42nd birthday yesterday so I spent the day with her and Mason knowing that I'd be hanging out with Mason at a place that has a huge pool and a hot tub while Mandy took a friend of hers shopping anyway to make a long story short Mandy hardly ever drinks and thankfully she doesn't drink and drive asked me to be her designated driver so I was, anyway they both smoked and drank beer while Mason was having a blast in the pool. I know how much Mandy appreciated me doing that for her by the way the friend she took shopping lost his license due to impaired driving almost a year ago anyway I'm so thankful that I am a recovering alcoholic heading for 10 years of Sobriety in February and I'm very close to my 6 years of Smobriety in July, I have to admit that it was awkward being around the alcohol and cigarettes BUT no way am I ever going backwards because LIFE really is Grand without an alcoholic drink or one of those cigarettes in Hand there's absolutely no reason on the face of this earth that's good enough to screw up a perfectly beautiful quit! Our lives are worth so much more than relapsing back into the slavery of addiction that we've worked so hard to break VIGILANCE IS KEY TO REMAINING SMOKEFREE..... And also for ME ALCOHOL FREE .....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
