We all have our reasons for why we finally wised up and quit smoking and possibly you're reading this and are on the fence or maybe you're struggling with remaining quit please know that we're all here to help you in any way we can, you can quit and stay quit because with commitment and perseverance and with the right Mindset we can do just about anything we put our minds to and quitting smoking is vital to our quality of life because breathing is essential to living and as difficult as it is to quit it's also very Doable and totally worth it to be Free. I found this site back in June of 2014 after finding out that I have mild copd I knew that I needed help to quit and this awesome community was the one I picked and after tons of reading of everything I could find about this horrid addiction I set up a quit date but I wasn't ready when it came so I reset it and promised myself the night before that I wasn't going to pick up another cigarette as long as I live and I don't break promises to anyone including myself so I started my quit on July 14th 2014 and for some reason and I honestly don't know why I totally forgot about this site until my 18th day when I was having horrendous cravings back to back and they seemed never ending I was ready to jump in my car and buy a carton of cigarettes SCREW just the pk BUT thankfully I remembered this site and got on line and commented on something up until that point I'd been hiding in the shadows and hadn't let myself be known BUT thankfully when I commented lots of great folks came on line and helped me through and I never had to tear my hair out or rip anyone's face off which I felt like doing many times if someone happpened to look at me the wrong hummmmm that's probably why most people stayed away from me including my son and daughter BUT the grandchildren were safe because they were my incentive and still are to this day because enjoying the little things in life are so important and LIFE is so much better once you get to that good place in your quit it's not easy in those early weeks by any stretch of the imagination BUT anything in this life worth having takes time and effort and our quits must be top priority so we can continue living a life of Freedom.....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
