Looking back on my smoking days and thinking about my half dozen failed attempts at quitting smoking makes me realize that they were half assed attempts otherwise one of them would've stuck BUT they didn't because I didn't have the right Mindset and I was probably looking for an EXcuse to relapse because I didn't believe enough in myself that I could actually succeed and obviously I just wasn't ready to commit BUT then after 40 yrs of smoking at least 30 smokes a day and having a Dr set up a breathing test and it showing mild copd was enough for me to find this site and get serious about taking back my life from the clutches of the dreaded nicotine poison it wasn't easy by any stretch of the imagination BUT thankfully it was DOABLE for me and it's DOABLE for everyone, SERIAL QUITTING CAN BECOME A PATTERN BUT THANKFULLY THAT PATTERN CAN BE BROKEN WITH COMMITTMENT AND PERSERVERE WE CAN AND WILL BE LIVING A LIFE OF FREEDOM ...... IS IT EASY IN THOSE EARLY DAYS AND WEEKS? HELL NO!!!! BUT IS IT WORTH IT ? HELL YES !!!!! ANYTHING IN THIS LIFE WORTH HAVING TAKES TIME AND EFFORT AND QUITTING SMOKING  DEFINITELY SHOULD BE AT THE TOP OF THE LIST FOR OUR HEALTH, FAMILIES AND OUR LIVES WHICH IS LITERALLY COUNTING ON US TO STICK WITH OUR QUITS N.M.W  - NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
