I used to be a quitter at quitting smoking at least six Times over,  the last two relapses were to do with having one too many drinks thinking hummm I'd be alright if I had just one or two smokes BUT  of course that's total bull so the last relapse took close to 20 yrs to finally wise up I looked around on line and decided on this site to make a long story short THIS Community Works Wonders If You Work It by Reading Blogging Commenting by asking questions and most of all being willing determined and totally committed to perservere through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep to get to that point where you realize how much better life is without the crutch of cigarettes and you'll realize it by reading and seeing that quitting smoking Is absolutely difficult to say the least but very Doable and totally worth it, don't give up when you hit the rough patches instead Plow through knowing that you will Succeed because you Will, believe it deep breaths and know that your quit is firmly in your grasp, quitting smoking is the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE and it's EXtremely frustrating going to the Wakes and funerals knowing that some of these people died much too soon knowing that they were smokers ugh we went to a wake yesterday and we're going to the funeral today of a man that's 62 My husband Mark knew him much better than I did BUT damn it another death by COPD!!!!!!  I quit smoking when I found out that I have mild copd because that was enough to scare the Crap out of me breathing is essential to living! Quitting smoking is a choice and quitting on this side of the grass is absolutely DOABLE! I decided I wanted to be Vertical when I quit and be able to enjoy the little things in life that's actually the the big things in life, health family, friends but especially quality of life.....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
