Quitting smoking is a choice and it's the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE and as difficult as quitting can be it's much easier than possibly waiting too long and having a Dr tell you to go home and get your affairs in order that thought crossed my mind when I first found out that I have mild copd that's when I decided to bite the bullet and stopped playing Russian Roulette with my life because I finally figured out that I'm not invincible and found this site after 40 yrs of slavery to the nicotine poison of roughly 30 smokes a day but with the help of this community and by reading everything I could about quitting smoking and by being willing determined and totally committed to get through the rough patches without tearing my hair out or ripping anyone's face off, I'd read Dale's page concerning the first four months of quitting whenever I was struggling and by blogging and commenting NOW here I am heading towards my four year milestone in less than a month! Quitting smoking is worth all of the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep to get to that point where you realize how much better life is BUT you must believe it and stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option-Anymore our lives deserves for us to look after ourselves because if we don't nobody else can do it for us.....
