Why do people finally decide to bite the bullet and kick the nicotine poison to the curb? I played Russian Roulette with my life by half heartedly trying to quit at least a half dozen times which were failed attempts, I know that I wasn't ready and was looking for any EXcuse to relapse so my last failed attempt was twenty some years ago until this quit, my husband has 2 1/2 months on me he quit because of mild emphysema but I continued to Smoke outside of course we hadn't smoked in the house for over a decade but then I had a breathing test and it showed that I have mild copd so I wised up and threw the yuckies ( cigarettes) away, my health is the reason that I quit and wanting to  be around to enjoy the family especially my grandchildren and I want to have the best quality of living that I can have and that's my incentive to stick with my quit! I say thank you to this  awesome community of EXers who helped get me through the rough patches and showed me that there's definetly Life after Cigarettes  what is your incentive to protect the best gift that you'll ever give yourself which is the gift of LIFE?

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
