Once we make the decision to quit smoking and have the right Mindset we can do just about anything We put our minds to and quitting smoking should be at the top of the list of things to do for our health, family, wallet but most importantly our life because our lives literally depends on us to kick the nicotine poison to the curb, quitting smoking is very difficult to say the least but very Doable but it's a Choice and it's the greatest Choice ever but when I was in the early weeks of quitting between the withdrawals, moodswings and lack of sleep if it wasn't for the support of this community and the tons of reading that I did here I'm not sure that I'd be celebrating three and a half yrs of Smokefree living today, here's a few things that helped me through the rough patches, I read Dales page concerning the first 4 months of quitting smoking over and over again, and also these phases, keep them away from your face, the only way out is through, Quitting smoking is Doable, N.O.P.E - Not One Puff Ever, S.I.N.A.O - Smoking Is Not An Option, N.E.F  - Never Ever Forget ! These are just a few things that helped me through to get to where I am today, plus H.A.L.T  - Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired. Once we make the decision to quit smoking then believe it, be willing, determined and totally committed to succeed and here's another that I learned here and it's ONE of my favorites each day you get through is another Day WON! This one I thought up  Life is Grand without a Cigarette in Hand so if you're struggling keep plowing forward because it will get easier and easier with time under your belt and you'll realize just how much better life is without the crutch of cigarettes but you must believe it and stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance because you will  succeed .....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
