There really is an awesome life after cigarettes but a person has to believe that they'll get to that good place by being willing, determined and totally committed to go through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawls and mood swings, lack of sleep and whatever else there is because it's all worth every darned thing we have to go through to kick the nicotine poison to the curb to live the rest of our lives Free to go anywhere, anytime  whenever, wherever and however without wondering where to sneak off to suck on a disgusting  cancer stick. Quitting Smoking is a Choice, I'm so glad I made that chose to quit and  took the chance to change my life because after 40 yrs of Slavery to the Cancer Sticks and finding out I have mild copd was my wake up call to bite the bullet and stop playing Russian Roulette with my life so I found this Community and to make a long story short I quit and stayed quit with perserverance and the wonderful people here rooting me on plus there's a wealth of information here so I read everything I could find which strenghtened my resolve to keep stacking up my smokefree days, was it difficult? HELL YES! but anything in this life worth having takes time and effort and quitting Smoking and staying quit should be at the top of the list of things that must be done while we're still on the right side of the grass and we deserve a much heathier lifestyle for our family and friends but most importantly for ourselves because if we don't take care of ourselves no one else can do it for us and I know that I've been one of those Happy Quitters for quite some time and reaping the benifits of an Ex Smoker and it's super Fantastic and with the right mindset we can do just about anything we put our minds too!

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
