There really is Life after cigarettes and once I found this site and read everything I could about quitting smoking and Remaining Quit it was like a light bulb lit up in my brain and I started to understand how powerful an addiction smoking is so once I realized that I set up a quit date but wasn't ready so I set up another one for a wk later and the night before quitting I promised myself that I'd never ever pick up another cigarette as long as I live then the next morning I began my quit journey. For some reason I forgot about this site but on my 18th day when I was struggling to the point of jumping in my car and buying a carton of cigarettes instead of just a pack but thankfully I remembered so I got on line and commented on something and someone suggested that I write a blog and tell you a little about myself and my quit and the rest is history. I smoked roughly 30 cigarettes a day for 40 yrs and now have well over 3 glorious yrs quit and there's people here that smoked for over 50 yrs that are living a happy smokefree life, it's definitely not easy but it's absolutely Doable and and definitely worth it so choose life and hang tough and plow through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and mood swings to come out the other side an Ex Smoker because you can and will be successful if you choose to be.....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
