With willingness, determination, commitment and perseverance we all can be living a life of Freedom and reaping the benefits of an Ex Smoker, I used to think that I couldn't quit smoking and at times thought I really didn't want to anyway but after finding out that I have mild copd that was the kick in the butt I needed to realize that I wasn't invincible that if I didn't brighten up I'd most likely end up on oxygen 7/ 24 or worse so I found this site and read everything I could about quitting smoking and Remaining Quit because there's a wealth of information here to strengthen anyone's resolve to kick the nicotine poison to the curb, was it easy for me or anyone else thats quit in the early days and wks? HELL NO! But was it worth it to be FREE? HELL YES! Now all of us Exers are enjoying our Freedom from the clutches of the cancer sticks but we'll always continue to be vigilant while going about our daily lives because we don't ever want to become complacent - N. E. F. - Never Ever Forget - the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and mood swings, quitting smoking is definitely difficult to say the least but it's absolutely Doable and our lives literally depends on us to stick with our quits no matter what!

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
