Yay for a smokefree Hump Day

Yay for any & every day that is smoke free, I remember my early days and wks of quitting smoking and not really knowing if I was going to make it through without jumping in my car and buying a carton of cigarettes instead of just a pack but instead I'd come here and read Dale's page concerning the first 4 months of quitting and I'd blog about how rocky a time I was having and yay there was always someone here to strengthen my resolve to remain quit. I learned these mantras here! N. O. P. E.  - Not One Puff Ever  - S.I.N.A.O - Smoking Is Not An Option  - N. E. F.  - Never Ever Forget. Even after 3 precious yrs of smoke free living I'll still get the odd thought of aaah geesh surely just one won't hurt and all of these mantras pop into my head plus we all know better than to screw up because that One death stick would put us back to a day ONE and we all must continue stacking up our Days WON!  Because our lives literally depends on It and as Dale says keep them away from your face and if you are struggling the only way out is through. There's so much going on in the world right now that is catastrophic and so heartbreaking and I know our prayers are still going up for everyone needing them in all of the areas of devastation and relapsing wouldn't help a thing but by relapsing you'd be hurting yourself and that would be absolutely horrible so hang on tight and don't let go to the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE!

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
