Our Ground Hog didn't see his shadow but unfortunately I think winters going to stick around another 6 or 8 wks anyway, I kept Mason here last night and got him off to school. He was reminding me that it was ground Hogs day and being a 7 yr old loves the snow, I meet him after school when he gets off the bus here because I'm so far off the road and we usually stay outside for at least a half hr, he slides and plays on the snow banks and both of us made snow angel's yesterday and my friends and fellow Exers the best part of being an Ex Smoker is being able to be outside with the grandchildren and not having to be sucking on a disgusting cancer stick and most likely choking and coughing nearly horking up a lung or maybe both. I remember those days only too well even though it's been over 2 and a half yrs since quitting but I - N.E.F - but I don't want to Never Ever Forget - the early days and wks of my quit because I never ever want to go back to DAY ONE because I love my Freedom to be able to go anywhere, anytime, whenever and wherever and however without wondering where to sneak off to suck on the nicotine poison, so my friends and fellow Exers let's keep moving forward and stacking up those precious smoke free days and at the end of each day we can smile and say YAY FOR ANOTHER DAY WON because quitting smoking is definitely difficult to say the least but boy oh boy it's absolutely Doable and it's absolutely worth it to be FREE!
