Life happens whether we smoke or not so quitting is going to be the best decision that you will ever make in your lifetime, I am so thankful that I finally took back my life from the clutches of the cancer sticks a little over 2 and a half yrs ago now and I only had a scare with mild COPD but it was enough to make me realize that I'm not invincible that it just wasn't other people who get smoking related illnesses and worse, I realized that I was playing Russian Roulette with my life and I didn't want to end up on oxygen 7/24 and die a slow painful death that's most likely smoking related. I remember only too well the early days, wks and even the first three months or so, quitting wasn't easy by any stretch of the word for me, I'm sure it's easier for some everyone's different. My younger sister had me so stressed out before my 30 day mark in my quit that I threw my cordless phone across the room and I wanted a cigarette soooooooo bad but I got on line instead and I believe that it was Nancy (youngatheart) that talked me through it, we all have stressful situations but we don't have to smoke because smoking only makes things worse, you have to relearn different ways of dealing with life's issues without the crutch of the cancer sticks but it takes time but boy oh boy it's absolutely Doable and so worth it because everything worth having in life takes time and effort choose to quit and stick to it no matter what is happening in life because your life is literally depending on you, it's a choice so choose Life choose FREEDOM to go anywhere, anytime, whenever, wherever and however without wondering where to sneak off to suck on the nicotine poison, there really is Life after cigarettes and it's super fantastic and it's yours for the taking so grab on and hold on tight because each day you get through is another day WON!
