I was sentenced to a life sentence of working on the nicotine chain gang. When we went out to work on the chain gang we sounded like this;
That's the sound of the people smok'nnnn cigarettes
That's the sound of the people vaping and pip'n
(cough, choke, cough)
(cough, choke, cough)
All day long they're smokn and vap'n
(cough, choke, cough)
(cough, choke, cough)
That's the sound of the people smok'nnnn cigarettes
That's the sound of the people vaping and pip'n
(cough, choke, cough)
(cough, choke, cough)
"it's been 20 minutes, gotta have another
could you lend me a light brother...
(cough, choke,cough)
(cough, choke, cough)
This is how I escaped from the nicotine chain gang:
I imagine or fantasize about my nicotine addiction as a greedy little "beadied" eyed monster, who is a sloppy dresser, dirty and smelly, and a creature that thinks only of itself, and is only satisfied when it takes the very last breath from a person. My nicotine monster is selfish, predatory and it doesn't care who it hurts. I hate my nicotine monster but I no longer fear it.
What I've learned is the nicotine monster is not very smart. When I quit the smoking chain gang, it wasn't smart enough to figure out how I did it. Had it been able to figure out how I escaped, it might have dragged me back, but it's too stupid to understand, I've got it beat!
